The participants at this workshop will be exploring the future of the bioeconomy, based on different foresight scenarios, published by the Knowledge Centre for Bioeconomy in 2021. They will have the opportunity to engage in a highly interactive discussion with other bioeconomy experts and share their experience and vision, guided in their discussion by facilitators. The format of the workshops is highly interactive, and based on a serious board game, which was designed to engage stakeholders and stimulate exchanges and reflections. The Scenario Exploration System is an award-winning tool, which has been used in several domains, and the participants will be amongst the first players in the Bioeconomy edition.

Although the 5 October event’s participant list is full, we are preparing another workshop based on the same concept on 13 December (13.30-17.30 CET) in Brussels. We are happy to consider interested stakeholders for the December event, so please indicate your interest by sending us an email to EC-Bioeconomy-KC@ec.europa.eu. Thank you!
